I hope to give exciting and suitably challenging lessons which will create and sustain motivation and determination. Über mich

I have lots of experience in both cello playing/ performing, and also in teaching and working with children. I have a degree in music and I previously attended two music schools, Wells Cathedral school, followed by the Yehudi Menuhin school. Because of this, I have a great understanding of what music is about, and also what it takes to have a good, healthy teacher and student relationship. I have worked and had lessons with many great professors, also giving me experience.
I love teaching as I get to give back what was given to me. It is something I choose to do, because I love it and want to help others. Music making can be a way to feel good and healthy, to meet other like-minded people and to ultimately have fun and express yourself.

Graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Previously graduated from the Yehudi Menuhin school. I have completed all grades and have a distinction in a performance diploma.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I have experience in working with children in outreach projects and also in leading orchestral rehearsals. I have experience in a musicians life, within chamber music, orchestras-National Youth Orchestra, solo, concerts, masterclasses and playing in many concert venues. I have also been on tours around Europe.

You will learn how to show your emotions through movements to best inspire the audience and enjoy. We will work on rhythm, tempo (which are two different things), creativity, improvisation techniques and theatrical performance (if interested). I do not like to work genre-based (for instance only hip-hop, or only classical music), but we will practice what you like the most. However, my strengths are rather in contemporary and modern style, hip hop, breakdance, belly dancing, and Persian dance. We can also specialize in one of these if you are interested. I have a very great technical skill and knowledge
play both Fingerstyle and Plectrum. Very important

As tools I use tablature / notation and make
video / audio recordings. I really enjoy giving music lessons

Always wanted to learn Spanish, but the regular lessons go too fast and/or it doesn't stick, then follow these tailor-made lessons.

Why class for 40+, because we have learned from our own experience how difficult it is to learn another language later in life and that most books/courses are based for younger students.

All lessons are adapted to your individual needs and speed.

You do not need to purchase any books, all materials will be delivered by email. This is because we work with several books and in this way we can offer a lot of learning material and thus make the learning material varied (and also rehearse more often if necessary.)

There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons, you are the one who determines the frequency. Of course you can also do these lessons with your partner.

Lessons are given online via Skype and last 1.5 hours at a time.
Lessons can be given during the day or in the evening.
