The practical insight has been developed throughout enduring studies from 2 different institutional perspectives inspired the urge to convey this to the art enthusiasts of all levels and age. Each age is special within the education similarly all targets pointed from the creative spirits creating thus various anticipations. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach. However the one who lasts for foundation and aspires him/her the concept of taking it further to possible academic preparation will grab charcoals, a spoke, the required papers, instal from simple to complex still life compositions and set forth the journey of academic drawing theory. And then, of course, start with colour, of both acrylic and oil medium. Pre-school children, children and teenagers are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. Needless to say that suchlike classes do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants. Personal Portfolio Class: If you are considering applying for art school or design school, you might want to prepare yourself and build a convincing portfolio, perhaps improve your presentation skill or even some confidence boost for interviews. We will first explore what talents you already have and those you will want/need to have, the goal is to help you develop your creativity and curiosity as well as your artistic skills and most importantly find out your inner talent for a direction that will suit you, whether in education or self-development. And we will do a live rehearsal for your interview for the best presentation result and confidence boost. Overall, It'll help you cultivate the soft and hard skills you need to be more confident setting and resetting expectations, strengthening relationships, and taking your projects across the finish line without any cold sweat. For teenagers: are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. We will also look at specific Artists and Painters, as well as specific Art History periods, and the kids will then be encouraged to play around and recreate their own version of the Artist or period. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Colorimetry is a fundamental tool to begin to understand the behavior of colors, where they come from, and how to obtain them. We will see the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, and how to apply them to create different types of palettes. In turn, we will see the triads of colors to generate cold and warm palettes, and you will experience first-hand how to create those colors. We will also have a brief part of research into pigments (the source of color) and works of art throughout history, to see the use of different painting techniques. Since we are going to focus in our classes on color theory, it is not strictly necessary that you know how to draw or paint, or that you have knowledge of perspective or others. This course is designed to complement your knowledge of art and improve your ability to choose the colors and palette you want to work with. As a bonus, this course will also help you apply your knowledge when applying makeup or applying makeup, since if it is something that interests you, let me know and we will incorporate it into the course. We will see how to apply colors according to the person's eye color and skin tones.
