As a gap year student in Lisbon, I give French lessons at all levels. French being my native language, I can communicate with you as long as you speak English. I take communication courses. During the course I will of course be required to correct grammar and conjugation errors and help fill in vocabulary gaps. I will lead the student to try to maintain a fluid discussion. It's by practicing that we learn :D! I would also suggest some written exercises. However, the student must be able to speak at least English so that we can communicate if necessary. However, in my course we will maximize the time spent speaking in French. I'm going to fazer aulas de communication. During this time, it is clear that you will be able to correct grammatical errors, conjugate and learn to detect gaps in your vocabulary. You encourage others to try to maintain a fluid conversation. In practice it is a good way to learn! You are also welcome to write exercises. However, it is important that some people have English language skills to have our communication, which is necessary. No matter what you do, we will maximize the time dedicated to speaking in French. :D

Hello, My name is Lucas I'm 22 and currently doing a gap year in Lisbon, after finishing my Bachelors in International Relations. I grew up in Belgium, my mother tongue is French, but I also speak Spanish, German, and Portuguese (Portanto, tambem posso dar aulas em Portugues) I have been giving French and Spanish classes before since I was 16. I love to teach and to also learn a lot from the students. I did in-person teaching but also gave online tutoring classes. The students I taught ranged a lot in level, from A2 to C1, which made me adapt the course to every person specifically. I think it is here where I am the best at, as I always try to structure my classes around the student I teach, and not based on a pre-organised course.
