Hello there, my name is Mary and I am a recent graduate of Leiden University with an MA in International Relations. Regarding my background, I am a native English speaker due to my upbringing in the United States and I received an excellent 6/7 grade in my English A HL course with an IB diploma in high school.

I am eager to teach English to any learner and I have previous experience teaching English as a volunteer. With my lessons, I will utilize a variety of tools to comprehensively improve the student’s grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Furthermore, I am able to work with all age groups, including young children and adults. I am teaching Chinese in Chinese school Amsterdam more than 3 years. I can speak both mandarin and Cantonese, teach children and adults, beginning Chinese or business Chinese, with games, songs, stories and films in my class, learning Chinese is more easy and more funny.

I am a French student in computer engineering doing an internship in Amsterdam. I propose French lessons to learn or develop your French. I do not speak Dutch but I speak English fluently, so classes can be done in English or French.

This class will introduce you to various aspects of the Vietnamese alphabet, grammar, and spelling. I will also provide speaking practice at the end of every class. This class is designed for those of you who are interested in the Vietnamese language, as well as Vietnamese culture.

New vocabulary for each topic will be discussed. My study background is in Mathematics and Statistics, thus with the combination of languages you can expect 'a bit' of reasoning logic behind all lessons I give (which I think gives some structure to the lessons as well)!
