Trusted teacher: Hello, I'm Elizabeth a highly experienced piano, clarinet and music teacher with eleven years school teaching and Head of Music experience. I provide online and in person (at home) tuition for piano and clarinet (beginner to advanced), and music theory (ABRSM), as well as coursework, exam preparation and general tuition for GCSE, A' Level, BTEC and UAL Music and Music Technology. I adore teaching and am passionate about music. I differentiate my teaching to ensure my students succeed and will work closely with you to ensure you progress and enjoy your lessons. As a musician I have worked as an accompanist and clarinettist as well as a music producer, and incorporate creativity and mindfulness into my daily practice. I received my PGCE (with OFSTED Outstanding in all categories) in 2009 and hold a Masters in Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music. Trusted teacher: I am a fully qualified teacher with twenty-three years' experience of KS3, GCSE and A-Level with many different exam boards, both UK and international. I am a former Head of Department and have taught in three prestigious independent schools in the UK. My style is highly effective and will not only rapidly improve your confidence to speak, listen, read and write but will give you a solid foundation of grammar on which to build, rather than just teaching you banks of vocabulary to memorise. My lessons are fun, engaging and interactive and I make all my own resources, which I tailor to suit the needs and interests of my individual students. Whatever your reason for learning French or German, exam help, test revision, ravel or just for the fun of it, I can tailor something for you. I recently realised, when my school moved to full-time online teaching via MS Teams, that students can get just as much out of online tuition as they can in a classroom, if not more!
