Want to start playing the violin, work towards a profesional career or learn to play just for fun? Every reason to want to play the violin is a good one, and everyone is welcome to come learn with me! These violin lessons will be carefully tailored to each student, considering level, goals and availability to practice at home. The lessons will be focused around classical music, but I am always open to help students explore other genres as they wish. Ensemble playing is a very important part of music learning, and I will do everything I can to facilitate an opportunity for students to be able to play music with other people. The lessons will be supplemented with music theory and history, to not only give an ability to play the violin but to also give the student a well rounded understanding and appreciation of the music. Lessons can be in English, Spanish, Norwegian or Dutch.

The violin is a sensitive instrument. To feel closer to the instrument many years of thought and practice are needed. I have made research about how physical modifications can affect performance and also participated in a course for better teaching methods. I can teach beginners to advanced conservatory students. With beginners, I have an excellent book to start with which will be studied with the other common violin books (such as Suzuki, Schradiek, Kaiser, and so on...). For amateurs and violin majoring students who might have pain while practicing and discomfort with the violin, I am specialized in finding what the reason for the discomfort/pain is, what modifications can be performed, how to find the most comfortable and efficient posture, and explain all these changes with logical explanations.

I'm available for hourly sessions where we can practice increasing the fluency, comprehension, speaking, or writing level you're at with the English language. I'm open to planning and customizing lessons based on your level of ability, but also your general comfort level. We can also work with the materials you bring if that's something you want to do. But I do want to make sure that you're being challenged (or are challenging yourself) enough or in ways that feel meaningful to you! I'm happy to work with anybody, in any age group, and for any purpose. I'm also a freelance copyeditor, so we can work with texts, essays, speeches, e-mails, forms, etc. I'm very flexible in terms of what we can work on or work with, so just send me a message if you have any particular needs, preferences, or concerns. We'll work something out!

The Italian language is complex but interesting to learn. So is Portuguese (Brazilian and European). I am available for teaching to any prospective student, at any level, considering I am a native speaker of both idioms, as well as of the English language. My classes are offered in English and I have quite a flexible schedule. If you are interested to learn new, Latin-derived languages, feel free to contact me! Due to the Covid-19 pandemics, I will primarily deliver lessons online. However, if you have a preference for physical contact, then we can find a compromise (with no variation on the lesson cost shown below). In the first lesson, you can evaluate whether the classes are for you or not. I am quite flexible in terms of time/cost!

- LINA / Jazz Vocalist/ Composer / Musical Actress / Pop vocal trainer / The voice is our greatest means of expressing ourselves. I have been teaching people as a vocal trainer for over 10 years. The most important thing in my class is discovering ‘your own unique voice.’ The focus is on understanding your body, discovering your own unique voice, and using it freely. Recognize the information contained in your own voice and work together to find out what you want to express through your voice. It could be jazz/improvisation, a theater song or a pop song. The goal is to be able to sing with your own voice without any genre restrictions. Be yourself! Let me help you!

Hi! I am a Tilburg University student and looking forward to be your tutor! I have quite a lot of experience tutoring kids from ages 6 - 13, however other ages are also fine. I specialise most in teaching English, however I am also up for helping kids with any of their assigned school work! I prefer making the lessons fun and interactive, as that is incredibly motivating, and I also feel that a little bit of a challenge every now and then is also great. I am easy going and learn to adapt to every child's unique way of learning. I can set homework if necessary, and I am always keen on providing progress reports!
