Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I had my first class with Dmytro and I really enjoyed it. He takes his classes very seriously (he was very punctual, he had indicated to me in advance the apps/tools needed for the class, he was asking if I have questions, he replied very quickly to my messages before the class...). Also, he was very patient with me (I have a low level in chess...). I liked a lot that he was not just explaining "book" theory of chess, but also the practical tricks. Arman has been teaching chess to my 6-year old son for about 2 months now. My boy started with hardly any knowledge of the game. Thanks to Arman he now thoroughly enjoys playing chess. Arman is a great teacher: patient but firm - with exactly the right combination of theory (e.g. puzzles, openings etc.) and practice (via Lichess). I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Arman as a chess teacher.
