Trusted teacher: Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music, Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (cum laude) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing. I am currently an opera singer working with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions. Besides, I am a holder of ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have given singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 2 to 40 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques, but I also share my knowledge about music history and theory when they need. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and music presentation, alongside with basic techniques. Since I grow up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I can also speak some simple German. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.

Trusted teacher: Français ci-dessous EN: I'm a master student in recorder at the ancient music departament of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and with many years of experience as a music teacher. I propose to you a dynamic, easy and amusing way of learning recorder! The classes can be individual or in groups. I can teach in English, French or Portuguese. If you are a complete beginner, don’t worry! I can teach you how to make the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow properly, the fingerings, posture... creating, step by step, a very solid basis technique that will help you to play easily anything you want in a near future. If you are an advanced student or have already a fundamental knowledge of your instrument, I propose an improvement of the technique making it more flexible accordingly to the repertoire, exploring the creativity and making your musical speech even more beautiful and convincing. For childrens, the recorder is the perfect instrument to start on the world of music. To be very simple (which means that you can easily make sound with it), versatile, and portable instrument it is perfectly suitable for kids, once they can play simple and beautiful melodies already at the first class and not get bored about the technique! I propose rich and fun classes of recorder and theory of music in such a way that kids can feel inspired and confident to move forward each class.

Violin lessons, music theory and history of music (Brussels)
Katja
I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Classical Guitar with professional musician in Brussels/ Cours de guitare classique a Bruxelles (Saint-Josse-ten-Noode)
Nikos
This was my first meeting with Nikos and I found him to be very understanding and open to my aspirations and ambitions regarding the acoustic guitar. I look forward to being his student for a decent interval to reach my next level in playing classical guitar music.

Piano, solfege, composition in Brussels and Leuven. (Leuven)
Giuseppe
Guiseppe pays a lot of attention to technique straight from the start and respects old methods. I think this is a very important trait for a piano teacher to have. His music theory explanations are very clear and interesting. I'd say he's the best from the best.
