Being a native Spanish speaker is not enough to be a Spanish teacher. I, however, am studying the last year of my degree, Hispanic Studies: the Spanish language and its literatures. This career allows you to choose one of three paths, and I have chosen the one dedicated to teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. Other than that, I plan to get a master's degree next year.

My classes will last at least 1 hour. In them I plan to work on grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills with a combination of exercises, some of them, games and things more fun than what you would find in a workbook. What I focus on most is conversation, because I think it will be the most important skill for my student, but if you want to focus our attention on something else, we can do that instead!

Depending on the student's level and preferences, I can teach the class in English (I have a C1) or in Spanish (as I already said, I am a native).

About Me

I'm a last year student of Spanish filology and I plan to get a masters in teaching Spanish to foreigners next year, I'm already on that path because of the electives I chose. I've been tutoring native kids in Spanish for two years and now I want to start teaching Spanish to non-natives.
