I understood very early that I like not only learning but also teaching languages and studied my Masters of Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 15 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics. I use a variety of resources (textbooks, articles, small videos, audios...) providing examples, exercises and homework so that what is to be learnt is doable and designed for your learning preferences. I adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money. I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. I had my first Spanish lesson with Irene and it exceeded expectations. She uses a structured mix of activities and drills that keep the session focused and engaging. Despite being a complete beginner, I was speaking simple conversations by the end of the hour. She has a clear, effective teaching style and knows how to build confidence quickly without overwhelming you. I learned a great deal in a short time and genuinely enjoyed the process.
