I offer one-to-one vocal lessons to all abilities and piano lessons to the beginner and intermediate pupil. I am happy to teach any style, including classical, folk, pop, musical theatre, jazz, etc. I work with my students to understand their goals and what they want to achieve, then plan their lessons to suit each individual, continuously evaluating their progression and making changes when necessary. I am a professional musician with nine years teaching experience and a BA in Music from Southampton University. I also completed the BAST (Become a Singing Teacher) course in 2015 and continue to study the voice from both a teaching and performing perspective. I am a full-time musician so am very flexible in terms of arranging lessons and will often be available in the daytimes, evenings and weekends to teach. I normally teach from my home using a weighted keyboard but I am offering online Zoom lessons now due to the pandemic.
