I specialise in teaching English Literature at A level and English Language and Literature at GCSE. Former Head of English at a leading Independent London GCSE and Sixth Form College; also Head of English at London Prep School. I assign homework after every lesson and provide detailed marking and support so you are aware of what you are aiming for at every stage. My goal is to teach students to develop their skills towards exam success, but also broaden and deepen their knowledge and enjoyment of the subject. I can teach you to write well and nail that essay. I know the syllabus inside out; I also know how to teach to different abilities and make learning fun.
