I offer online tutoring from KS1 to A-Level in biology, chemistry, and maths (with physics up to GSCE standard). I also tutor for the 11+. From my experience, I have found that it is very important to tailor the lesson to the individual students. Every person learns differently and has different strengths and weaknesses. By getting to know the student and how they learn best, it ensures that I have the best chance of helping them to reach or even surpass their target grades. I also understand that it is extremely important to be patient with students, and know that individuals may not always understand something the first time. It is often necessary to rephrase an explanation of a concept, and use analogies or examples where possible.
