English Literature is the study of numerous different literary texts throughout the centuries and around the world. GCSE and A Level requires students to study hand picked texts and analyse then according to themes and techniques. In this class students will learn to understand complex texts, like Shakespeare plays, and poetry and how to analyse them properly according to the examination guides. My teaching method is taking apart exam questions and talk through with the person what the question is expecting of them and what to write for it. I also go through different revision methods to find out which one is best for the student, while working with the student`s teachers on how to add to what they have been doing at school. I pride myself on my patience with students by letting them go at a speed they feel comfortable with and finding the key resources that will help them achieve their best.

I have recently finished my 2nd year at University of Southampton studying Ancient History and History where I have achieved a constant 2:1. I will give lessons to students, especially those doing their GCSE`s and A Levels whom are struggling. It can be lessons in History and even Classics since I have studied many different Classics texts during my Ancient History modules.
