This is a class for students that will learn from mentor texts and authors on how to craft better pieces of writing going through the writing process. We will study author"craft to raise the quality of their writing. This process will help students learn how to generate ideas, select one that they are passionate about, collect more information, draft, revise, and edit. All stages of the writing process will be explicitly taught and modeled. We will study different genres, craft, styles, language and structure.
