She is highly passionate about voice craft, singing technique, vocal pedagogy, music, and well-being. Her developing teaching approach is holistic and centered around the embodied voice combined with music theory and various effective methods as well as her own experiential knowledge as a vocalist and performer. As a voice practitioner and advocate of vocal pedagogy and well-being, Deelee offers masterclasses and workshops around the world at notable institutions. Endorsed by the Prince’s Trust in 2004, Vocal InsightTM is a long-standing practice and prides itself on utilizing a multisensory and mind-body-breath connection and approach to teaching, which aims to tailor each session according to each individual’s level of ability to efficiently inform about the voice. As an experienced and accomplished vocalist, Deelee is able to demonstrate practical voice and singing techniques which are informed through academia that incorporates the Estill method and the Linklater approach. Areas of focus involve releasing blocks of tension (bodywork/limber), breathing technique and breathwork, artistry, craft, and performance technique.
