Unfortunately, the majority of today's teachers still hide behind a system of terms in their teaching units that often makes it difficult for the listener to correctly apply "what they have learned." However, the use of complex terminology without preparing it in a more methodically and didactically advantageous manner ultimately leads to the risk that the learners' understanding potential and the content conveyed only very rarely intersect. My way of teaching consists of simplicity in the language used. I present the material in such a way that every topic covered is understood as a dynamic and not as an abstract construct - only then do I devote myself to practice. My focus is more on continuous practice through mental visualizations rather than misplaced communication of concepts. I consider self-confidence to be the most important dimension of learning, so I feel that regular feedback is essential in order to be able to provide motivational support to learners. However, my form of teaching is also linked to the requirement not only to push the learners through through upcoming examinations (in the sense of: “get through the main thing”), but also to significantly increase the performance potential. Whenever possible, I also experiment with unconventional approaches, which I only implemented in my lessons last year. For example, the inclusion of short and relaxing physical exercise units (e.g. stretching or short mobility exercises) leads to a significant improvement in focus and concentration in the subsequent tutoring session. The use of these exercises has already proven to be very helpful several times and could also be integrated into online tutoring sessions.
