So I started my teaching career in 2002 as a percussion teacher at the music school in Bruneck. I worked there for 2 years. In the following 15 years, I went through all primary, middle and music schools in the province of South Tyrol in Italy. I taught biology, languages, drums, mathematics, languages, music, art and technology, sports and art. After teaching for 15 years in my home country, I was looking for something new and ended up at IGS in Vietnam. I spent the last 3 years at the International German School in HCMC. Then I decided to change direction and tried to get a foothold in the business. I started my own trading company in Vietnam. As I realised that this is not really my field, I decided to go back to teaching. I just love working with children and young people and I get so much more back than in the crazy business world. I am able to deliver learning experiences while allowing students to dictate specific lessons and guide them with curiosity. Familiar with many renowned educational philosophies that aim to develop a child academically, emotionally and socially. I bring dedication, skills and a desire to positively impact the lives of children. I love working with children and young people. I find that I have a very good feel for children. I am having Swedish lessons with Sebastian now for 2,5 months since I must get to a certain language level for my new job. I was looking around for someone who could support my own learning strategy to accomplish the best result in 4-5 months. I had an extremely hard time finding someone who stood open for this idea, until I spoke with Sebastian. He immediately supported my wishes, knowing that there are different types of learning methods. During the process so far, he encourages me to speak as much Swedish as possible. By using different ways of learning, each lesson so far contained a little surprise that helped me to stay focused. Sebastian is reliable, patient and stays enthusiastic although I can ask difficult questions sometimes. He gives direct feedback on the work I am doing in a nice manner, but he stays also open to feedback on his own teaching methods and skills. This all makes my learning process and experience efficient, keeps me enthusiastic and curious to learn more. In addition, for me it was also important to have flexibility in the planning due to my work schedule. So far, Sebastian has been very flexible. We never had a week that it was not possible to find a date and time that suited both of us. I will continue my learning experience with Sebastian the coming months, but I hope that you will also give him your trust and choose him to become your teacher!

I recommend Khalil without a doubt to anyone looking to improve his/her German level in both writing and speaking. He is a very professional, structured and knowledgeable teacher. He was able to immediately evaluate my level of German during the very first lesson and adjust the teaching methodology and materials accordingly. I am truly impressed with his patience and dedication towards teaching the proper German pronunciation with all its complexities and difficulties as well as the proper rules when it comes to grammar and language. We also had lessons using Skype which is also a good option for those who have a limited amount of spare time or are too far apart from the teacher. It is obvious that Khalil loves what he is doing and is willing to put all his effort into his passion. I wholeheartedly recommend Khalil for anyone wanting to learn the language.

My daughter whose mother tongue is not Tamil is taking Tamil lessons with Shyam. Shyam is a very good teacher and uses very good teaching materials to teach her. She very much enjoys the lessons and we find that she is quickly picking up the language and we look forward to further lessons with Shyam. We are very happy to have him as her Tamil teacher.
