Interactive language class to learn Luxembourgish, in person or via webcam

As a Luxembourger, teaching this language has become my passion. My specialty is to teach Luxembourgish quickly and completely, while ensuring that the student correctly integrates the material and knows how to converse in society and at their workstation. Whether you are a beginner and have just moved to Luxembourg, whether you live at the border or even on the other side of the world, I am at your disposal to help you. In my lessons, I adapt targeted to your personal needs. Here are some examples and highlights: *Preparation for the Sproochentest test (also for nationality), targeted vocabulary, tailored to your needs (e.g. in the fields of economics, education, politics, medicine...). *Improve your language skills *Get to know your surroundings better by reading the magazine in Luxembourgish, laughing at jokes on the radio and understanding different dialects. *Get a better insight into Luxembourg culture and history. *This is a complement to your course in order to target your weaknesses. In my teaching, I adapt to the learning conditions and the student's life in order to strengthen their self-confidence and ensure that they understand the lessons and progress. The Luxembourgish language is a hidden treasure and little considered nowadays. As a Frankish language, and thus family with the Germanic languages, Luxembourgish gives access to the basic understanding of a whole different spectrum of European languages for French-speaking people. On the other hand, Luxembourgish comes with a strong French influence. It has to be said, though, that Luxembourgish has many hidden words that are unique and specific to the language. The course may contain: - spoken exercises using various subjects and photos to describe (Sproochentest type) - everyday conversations - diction exercises, accent and pronunciation training - dictations including the most important verbs - most commonly used words and phrases in general - exercises based on the lexical field of a specific area of the apprentice's life to facilitate the launch - games -… After each lesson, the student will receive a sheet of vocabulary assimilated during the course. Languages have always interested me a lot because they make it easy to communicate with another person. I had the great opportunity to learn many languages and I want to enable other people to discover other languages :-)

Many people are willing to learn the Luxembourgish language, but struggle with the traditional teaching methods. I have been tutoring different subjects for 3 years, and started tutoring Luxembourgish two years ago. I focus on the spoken language (as that is used a lot more than the written). This means the lesson will often be learning new phrases and then applying these into a conversation.

I teach Luxembourgish in general, I provide adequate training to anyone wishing to acquire Luxembourg nationality. I also offer more specific training to people working in the hospital environment; I am authorized to grant the level required at the end of the course in order to guarantee these people permanent employment.

You want p. e.g pass the Luxembourgish language assessment exam "SPROOCHENTEST" and speak Luxembourgish in everyday life? All my students passed the Sproochentest respectively their exams at INAP. I adapt to the different needs of my students and I work with the following books: Schwätzt Dir Lëtzebuergesch, l'Assimil: (Luxembourgish at high speed) and Learn Luxembourgish - An English beginners guide to teach yourself Luxembourgish among others. We focus on dialogues to practise your current Luxembourgish level and become more fluent during your stay in Luxembourg.

The course will always be adapted to the students. After a diagnostic test I prepare an adapted plan according to availability. Hours will always be flexible from Monday to Saturday. I speak French, German and Portuguese and have over 20 years of experience teaching languages.

Graduate of a Master at ICHEC in International Business, am available on weekdays and weekends for courses of Luxembourgeois, French, English, Mathematics, History-Geography or Economy. My goal is to advance the student is to encourage him in the preparation of his exams and questions.

Being a Luxembourgish native, I offer Luxembourgish classes for individuals or small groups, preferably via an online platform. I have helped many of my students to pass the 'mLuxembourgish language test to this date. I am flexible on the duration of each class (60mins-120mins).
