Dear student, I am a chemist graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology). I have always been fascinated by science and now I hold a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Geneva. Science subjects can help you pass exams. I have been teaching these disciplines for many years during exercise sessions held at the University as well as in private lessons given as an independent. For this reason, you will have the possibility to ask me for explanations on any subject. It is indeed useful that you can progress on the basis of what you already know. You will of course have the choice to ask me for remedial lessons to revise or discover entire chapters. Before the first lesson starts, I will invite you to explain your situation to me freely and free of charge so that we can work effectively from the first lesson. All scientific subjects have in common a method that is called "scientific logic". Whenever the opportunity arises, I will offer you elements of this method because it is this method that will allow you to understand durably and to solve the exercises rigorously. I'm in my second year at EPFL and my exams finish at the beginning of July — which means I'm much more available and flexible than usual for those first two weeks of July! I offer support in math, physics and chemistry for all levels, from primary school to high school, in Lausanne. Depending on your child's needs, the format can be completely adapted: For little ones: something light and fun, to keep them connected to math without it feeling like school during the holidays 😊 For middle school students: review the year's concepts, fill in any gaps, and start August with a solid foundation. For high school students: finish any exercises they were struggling with, revise for a make-up exam, or get a head start on the start of the new school year. I adapt to each student's pace and explain until it is fully understood. Lessons are available in French, English, or Spanish. Feel free to contact me so we can find what works best for you!

At university, I have been an assistant in Chemistry for the first years of EPFL for a few years as well as for a course linking mathematics and electronics, called Signals and Systems. So I am used to teaching and explaining concepts to students with difficulties. I also give private lessons to students passing the Swiss maturity or the French baccalaureate. To try to see together the difficulties as well as the misunderstandings: we go back to the lesson together, we do an exercise together and then I let the student do it independently and we review together if he is blocked or if we need to correct.
