Welcome to my page. I am David Paradi, I am a trombone player from Hungary based in the Netherlands. I obtained my Master degree in Trombone Performance at Codarts University of Arts in Rotterdam. Currently, I am living in the Netherlands collaborating with different kind of freelancer based projects, as well as teaching. Whether you’re picking up the trombone for the first time or looking to refine your skills as an advanced player, you’ve come to the right place! In Italy I taught in 4 different schools of music, there I had the opportunity to gain a lot of experience with students of all ages and all levels. I have had many children pupils, who approached the trombone or another brass instrument for the first time, as many amateurs of all ages who needed a guide for their path, but also adults with a great knowledge of music, who wanted to perfect themselves and find inspiration to cultivate their passion. If you are approaching the Trombone for the first time, there are NO requirement, book your lesson and you will try the instrument at my place, then if you want to progress you will need to buy your own instrument. If you are an amateur or you already study in another school but you want to perfect yourself or you need any help for any issues, just come by and we will see together your level and what you need to improve. Many masterclasses all around Italy and abroad taught me that every student is different, and a teacher can change your life just by saying the right sentence, we will work together. I have several methods to study any technical issue of the trombone, and a lot of inspiring exercises, we will find together the books that fit you better. To have a proper education, I take care about ear training, singing, and of course breathing and body posture as well, I want you to feel good with your instrument and to approach to the music in a relax and funny way.

Hello all! My name is Yiannis , I'm a third generation trombone player and I've been playing the trombone since 9 years of age. In 2017 I got my Trombone Diploma in Greece and since 2018 I have been studying Classical trombone at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where I graduated from with a Bachelor's degree. I've had teaching experience from Greece and here alongside my bachelor's degree i acquired followed the minor in education. Teaching is really a very beautiful and enjoyable process from which both teacher and student learn a lot! I'm very passionate about music, and I'm able to teach you both classical trombone or pop if that's your cup of tea! I'm here to remind everyone that age is just a number and does not mean anything. Did you always wanted to learn how to play the trombone, be a part of your town's windband or just play with your family and friends? Now you can do that with my help! Every lesson is being tailored in each student's needs, while I'll guide you to the most productive practice sessions you can have! Don't know how to read notes? No problem! We will learn everything together! Main aspects of my teaching is learning you the skills you need but also have fun! After all, we all want some fun in our life! I use books but also my exercises. The trombone, trumpet or piano seem hard instruments to learn, but with the right approach it's a fun and enjoyable process filled with small tasks that will make you improve and have fun at the same time. The same goes with music theory and composition; the classes are structured in a way that you wont feel overwhelmed with too much information because the goals and method will be set based on your level and needs. By means of the right balance between tension and relaxation, you will learn how to optimally express yourself musically on a trombone, the instrument that is very close to the human voice, based on a study schedule specially made for you. You get breathing exercises, relaxation exercises, in addition to exercises from, for example, the Coordination program for Trombone by Bart van Lier. May teaches you how to progress step by step with pleasure and discipline. She has many years of international experience as a teacher of Trombone Jazz and Caribbean Music at Conservatorium de Música de Puerto Rico, Conservatorio de Bellas Artes del Caribe, among others, and has performed in 28 countries. She gave workshops Latin Music and Big Band in ao. The US, South Africa, the Caribbean and various institutes and ensembles in the Netherlands. She lives alternately in Curaçao, the Netherlands and Puerto Rico. her CD Tributo de Tambor y Trombón en Clave de Mujer Boricua was #9 of Top 20 Best Albums of Puerto Rico.
