In the lesson, the focus is on technique, speed, reading skills, coordination, all different styles, and what the student wants to play. If you are struggling with speed or if you are just starting to play, good technique is very important. Moreover, a badly learned technique is difficult to unlearn later. I can also help you with the purchase of new equipment. The lessons take place at the student's home.

Music theory, solfège, ear training, sight-reading. These are important skills for every musician. Not only performing musicians, but also those who want to progress in music analysis or composition can come to me. From basic exercises for clapping rhythms to advanced lessons in alto clef, tenor clef, and soprano clef, I work according to your level. Not only this, but I can also teach the basics of harmony and analysis. Depending on your level and expectations, you will not need to study for up to an hour a day outside of my lessons. What is important is that I provide lessons that are engaging for you. If you say that you want to learn more about Eastern music culture, or a specific style, I can cater to that. Perfect for people who want to keep up at music school, prepare for the conservatory, dip their toes into the music world at a young age, or adults who want to sharpen or organize their music theory knowledge online. Whether you play an instrument or not, music theory can continue to inspire people. I pay extra attention to people with performance anxiety, stage fright, concentration problems (such as ADHD), autism, and stress-related issues. I can also take into account if, for example, you do not always have time to practice or cannot attend class every week due to work or hobbies.

As a graduated speech therapist, I have already completed several internships where I worked intensively with children who experienced various learning disabilities. Through my internships, I have gained extensive experience in working with children with various learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, articulation disorders, language disorders and more. My experience and education enable me to make a valuable contribution to the cognitive development and learning process of these children. Every child is unique and deserves an individualized approach, focused on both qualities and challenges. In my approach it is also crucial to create a supportive and positive learning environment for the child. In addition, I think it is important to also involve the parent(s)/educator(s) in the learning process. I am committed to helping your child reach their full potential! If you would like to have an initial introductory meeting, this is certainly possible. We can also discuss the expectations of the tutoring(s).

The Breath, it's the basis of everything we do, the source of life and the start of singing. I believe in a genre neutral method of breathing as a base of speaking and singing. No jazz, pop, musical or classical 'technique' but a natural method which taps into the natural strength of the body, which results in a huge window of opportunities. One can sing however, whichever and whenever one wants, unbound by genre defining methods and techniques. I strive for a utilisation of the whole of the body, just to produce sounds, which makes you more versatile with different genres and which results in a more durable voice.

Through these sessions I try to teach the student in question in a positive way how to study in various ways and how to encourage and motivate oneself to do so. Studying does not go without saying, but requires mental preparation and motivation, once you have mastered these two aspects, you are already much further and you are ready to master learning step by step on an independent basis, and in that process where you really 'learns to learn' I would very much like to help you with that. I myself am a law student at KULeuven, where I have to learn great suits, but by applying the right way and having the right motivation everything works. Where there's a will there is a way.

I always take the students' fluency into account. I teach at beginner and intermediate levels. If you cannot read music, you will be taught step by step, after which I also give the students the opportunity to decide for themselves which pieces they like and want to learn to play. That's all possible. We also look at techniques and improvisations.

Want to improve your English for work, travel, or personal growth? These lessons are 100% tailored to your goals. From conversation to writing, we focus on what you need to speak English more naturally, confidently, and accurately, in a personalized, targeted, and motivating way. My classes will look like this: - A brief introduction and experiencing together what exactly is difficult for you. - Schedule a meeting if this hasn't already happened, to review and clarify the theory together. I'll then give you some customized exercises. You have the option of working on them together with me and receiving immediate feedback, or, for a very short lesson, receiving a correction key and having it explained later if needed. For parents, I offer a one-on-one consultation of a few minutes to explain my capabilities and help you make a choice. This is completely optional. For the youngest among us, I use a diploma system to motivate them. After mastering certain subjects, I give them a homemade (unofficial) diploma that you can print out and display! Finally, I'd like to say that, thanks to my age of 19, I grew up surrounded by a lot of English. Because of this, I speak English as if it were my first language!

GOAL: BECOMING RESISTANT TO PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL STRESS. SELFEFENSE FOR BODY,MIND & SOUL Eastern martial arts are known as the most holistic disciplines in which balance in body, mind and soul are inextricably linked. Everything that puts us out of balance is what we call STRESS. And this can be physical, mental or emotional. Using Eastern martial arts including kung fu, tai chi, Chinese wrestling, I teach or coach skills that can strengthen your resilience against stress. These skills are: BE WATER (adaptability) - BREATHING- POSTURE/ATTITUDE - ROOTING - FOCUS - RELAX/RELEASE - FIGHTING SPIRIT - BODY/MIND CONDITIONING - OPEN EMPTY SOUL - SELF-CONTROLL What you do physically, you also do mentally. "A concrete example. If you are attacked physically and you fight back hard, there is a good chance that you will both sustain a lot of damage. As you try to adapt and avoid that attack, there's a better chance that a fight won't even happen. Now, how often does it happen when people are being scolded and reproached, that they start scolding back loudly, causing a fierce argument with both of them in sorrow. While if you don't respond to the insult, the argument can be avoided." "A second example: If you show yourself to be steadfast in your positions, so that it is difficult for you to be pushed out of balance, you will also become mentally steadfast, so that you will not easily allow yourself to be hurt emotionally." To find balance, you must of course work on both yin and yang. Too soft is not good, too hard is not good either, but we need both to find that balance. FOR WHOM? CHILDREN with low self-confidence who are often victims of bullying. CHILDREN who are too aggressive or have difficulty controlling their energy ADULTS who still go through life with low self-confidence, or suffer from all kinds of fears, stress, etc. ADULTS who like depth, mindfulness, self-awareness or want to get out of their comfort zone. ADULTS who love martial arts but cannot get into the clubs due to their lifestyle. WOMEN. I say this specifically, because martial arts are often a man's world, but women also benefit enormously from this. EVERYONE who suffers from all kinds of stress and who is blocked somewhere in life. I work both personally and in small groups, so you can share costs. I work by appointment, flexibly. I am asking for a mileage allowance.
