Experience chemistry and math tutor (Algebra) for school students of all ages. I have the most experience (more than 3 years) with students of different age in IB, A, AS and SAT levels. Can teach a broad range of topics in General, Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry.

I hold Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and right now I'm working in Research and Development on Scientist position.

I'm always focused on student's weak points and put as much effort as possible to enhance them. My approach to classes is interactive, so that I'm not the only one who speaks during the class. Student is engaged as active participant who can always share its doubts and ask questions. Tracking student's progress and giving further inputs for its educational development.

Online classes are done with virtual board and all notes are shared with student in the end of the class.

Hi, I'm Milica and I'm 26 years old. I'm big fan of sports and I was playing volleyball for 8 years. Love spending my free time in doing outdoors activities with my friends. As well, I'm big fun of board games and puzzles. I tend to constantly develop myself and read books, especially classical literature and anthropology topics.

Education

I hold Master Degree in Chemical Engineering obtained at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. I finished Bachelor Degree in Belgrade, Serbia in Chemical Engineering as well, with a special focus on polymers. I graduated among top 10 students in my class.

Having already given classes in dance and piano, I have a minimum of pedagogy and I like giving lessons to children / adolescents and make them understand the subject from different angles.

Généralement, une séance comporte une première partie pour revoir la théorie, suivie d'exercices et de préparation aux interrogations. Il est également prévu de re-travailler les parties moins maitrisées lors d'anciennes interrogations.

Mes cours s'adressent à des élèves du secondaire qui ont besoin d'un soutien, ponctuel ou à moyen terme, mais aussi à des élèves qui se destinent à des études supérieures scientifiques (mathématiques, chimie, sciences de l'ingénieur...). Ma méthode repose sur mon objectif principal qui est d'identifier les besoins spécifiques de l'enfant, d'être à son écoute, et de prendre le temps, afin de lui donner les clés et les outils dont il a besoin pour progresser rapidement.

J'achève tout juste un Master en sciences de l'ingénieur, spécialisation Chimie et science des matériaux, ce qui me donne une solide formation en mathématiques et en sciences (plus particulièrement la chimie, mais la physique également). J'ai été actif durant longtemps en école de devoirs ce qui me confère, je pense, une certaine expérience en termes de patience et de pédagogie.

My lessons are aimed at students in primary school, secondary school, and university (depending on the program and course). I was fortunate to have a very broad background in the exact sciences thanks to my civil engineering studies. My lessons can therefore cover chemistry (kinetics, equilibria, mass balances, etc.), mathematics (analysis, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, differential equations, etc.), and physics (electricity, mechanics, thermodynamics, etc.). Before starting private lessons, I usually ask for a description of the student's current course so that I can best prepare the sessions.

My studies also instilled in me a problem-based learning approach. My teaching method is therefore primarily practice-oriented, as the most important thing in the exact sciences is being able to solve any type of problem. And to do that, you have to do as many as possible. During my studies, I realized that the best way to understand a subject is by doing exercises on it. However, you still need to have some foundational knowledge. That's why I usually start with a brief review of the subject and provide a formula sheet with the important formulas. Then, I work through one or more typical exercises with the student, explaining the steps involved. Finally, the student will do exercises on their own, using the formula sheet (using formulas is the best way to remember them). I'm there to assess their understanding, answer their questions, and help them when needed.

Dans ma façon de faire , j'utilise beaucoup des schémas récapitulatifs , des tableaux car jusqu'ici ils ont été mes meilleures armes pour la compréhension de mes élèves !
Je dispose aussi de plusieurs support imagé et détaillé dans chaque matière pour donner à mon interlocuteur une autre façon de voir les différentes notions abordés , pour moi , la diversité des supports d'études est un vrai plus pour la compréhension !
Tout cela se fait dans la bonne humeur , c'est toujours un plaisir de rencontrer de nouveaux élèves car je suis sur de ne jamais utilisé les mêmes méthode , chacun est différent et c'est ce qui me plait !

Je suis un élève d’en rhéto au collège Saint-Jean berchmans en néerlandais. J’en suis en option Latin-6heure d’en math. J’en suis là pour aider des élève jusqu’en année. Le premier cour je ferai faire des exercices a l ́eleves pour que j’en puisse comprendrez d’ou vient le/les problème(s). Par après je vais m’assurer qu’il comprennent bien la théorie. En fin nous ferons des exercices types que je ramènerai et que je corrigerai.

Actuellement en attente d’un début de formation pour le métier de pilote de ligne à CAE Bruxelles, je souhaiterais travailler en tant que tuteur en Mathématiques et Physique.
Après avoir effectué une classe préparatoire scientifique, j’ai intégré une école d’ingénieur, ce qui m’a permis d’accroitre mes connaissances scientifiques et d’être a la hauteur pour aider des étudiants à mieux comprendre et progresser. My name is Juliette, I have a master's degree in bioengineering from ULB and a master's degree in violin from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
