I still have room for students aged 12 and older. Pop, jazz, latin and starting classical, electric or acoustic. Reading music or by ear, everything is allowed, everything is possible. Always wanted to play the guitar or just breathe new life into an old hobby, you are most welcome. The lessons are given in my studio in Overberg (Veenendaal). My approach Playing the guitar is fun for me. You don't need to be able to play well to get a lot of pleasure from the instrument. We are going to make the road to mastery as fun as possible. I like to chop well-known songs into bite-sized exercises, in order to get to the end goal. That's what my lessons are focused on, I want to show and hear in a structured and enthusiastic way that the guitar is a simple instrument with unprecedented possibilities. We are going to play right away and during this play all interesting things are discussed and explained where necessary. Bring your own songs that you want to play or else I have more than enough famous or lesser known classics in my repertoire that we can start doing. I hope to hear you!

The content of the lessons ----- All styles are covered at Musiclab. Think of blues, jazz, classical, pop, rock, et cetera. These diverse genres are played on classical, western (acoustic) and electric guitar. Bass guitar can also be practiced. Learning to read notes and tabs are an integral part of the lesson. However, improvisation can also be part of this. In the technical field, chord playing, scales, arpeggios and various playing techniques such as hammer-ons, pull-offs and tapping are discussed. Theory can also be taught in preparation for vocational music education. Lessons at Musiclab are intended for the serious guitarist or bassist who has time to practice at home. Musiclab is flexible and offers various options on different days and times to follow the lessons.
