Everyone has their favorite garment, a pair of trousers that fit perfectly, a top like a second skin , what is yours?
How can we copy these garments without cutting them into pieces?
You can do this !
This course is for all levels ,you don't need any prequisits.
Sure you should be able to sew a little bit.After the rub off you get your patterns and then finally you have to sew them.
And you will be happy about the result.
You need only a few tools to do your rub off : muslin ,pins ,pencil,ruler , measuring tape and sissoirs.
In this course I will show how to do the rub off: copying the pattern and then making a new piece.I will show you step by step how to copy the pattern .Then you are able to sew your best piece!
I demonstrate in this course how to copy a pair of trousers (asymetric) .
You will see how to copy the trousers: the two fronts, the back and the waistband.
In this video you will also learn how to copy pleats ,darts ,patch pocket and insert pocket.And with this knowlegde you will be able to copy any garment.
After this course you will be able to create a new favorite garment, in the future you will have only favorite garments in your closet!

About Me
I, Sophie , born in Vienna, studied fashion design in Florence and
specialized in bags, for which I learned both the craft and the design.
Since 2004 I have my own bag collection "Sophie
from design and cutting to manufacturing, everything happens in
Florence, where I have lived for more than 30 years.
For 15 years I have been teaching in various
international fashion schools in this city; I give courses in draping,
pattern drawing, sewing and accessories.
Due to the Covid crisis, in 2020 I started to teach online courses
which is a highly interesting experience and challenge.

n this course I will show you how to upcycle your T-shirt by changing some details and giving it a new shape. Instead of throwing it away, you create a new garment.
You will learn how to change a garment by altering the shilouette, increasing the neckline, changing the sleeves, adding an elastic band.
You can apply this knowledge to all kinds of garments and start to upcycle your clothes.

Here in this course, I will show how to take the right measurements for your hat. You will design your hat according to your measurements and develop your own design.
I will show you some variations and how to develop them. Finally, I will sew a beret and show you step by step what to do.
