Ik heb na de basisschool en het gymnasium (profiel C&M) de universiteit doorlopen en een bachelor in Oudheidkunde behaald, gevolgd door en master in Ancient Studies.

This class is aimed at anyone looking to increase their English-speaking and listening skills. Depending on the student's interests, the focus will shift from vocabulary expansion and sentence structuring to "accent" reduction. My goal is to be a talking partner with whom you can engage in significant conversations about any topic you are interested in. Whether you are getting ready for a trip or a presentation or if you just want to make sure you do not forget what you already know, practice makes perfect and I want to try to help you achieve your goals.

I will pay attention whenever you are speaking and point out the mistakes (or "funny-sounding" phrases) in a polite manner after you finish speaking. That way I will not cut you off or discourage you from not being afraid of making mistakes (which we all make).

Om in Nederland te wonen en te wonen, is een bepaald niveau Nederlands niet alleen handig, maar ook noodzakelijk als u een baan wilt hebben. Als onderdeel van het proces om Nederlander te worden, moet u een basisniveau Nederlands hebben, namelijk A1 tot B2.

Ik ben een gecertificeerde docent Nederlands met 6 jaar leservaring. Naast het lesgeven van Nederlands aan Nederlandse middelbare scholieren in de groepen 1 t/m 4 mavo/havo/vwo, heb ik ook ruime ervaring met het lesgeven van Nederlands aan expats/buitenlanders.
Ik ben dan ook bekend met het inburgeringsexamen en het NT2-curriculum voor degenen die in Nederland willen verblijven.

Ik ben zeer deskundig en geef les met passie, creativiteit en enthousiasme. Ik hou van de Nederlandse taal en het lesgeven ervan aan anderen, maar ook van de interactie met alle soorten culturen en leeftijdscategorieën.

Struggling with Probability and Statistics? I have been there as a student/tutor and I can give you some guidelines and tricks to overcome it and hopefully to even enjoy it. I am Industrial Engineer and Industrial Engineer, and I did my MSc in the IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft. Besides research, I have had experience as a tutor in my former University and also with High School students.

I am passionate about teaching and my pedagogic focus is significative learning. That is to go beyond formulas and try to understand clearly and consciously the purpose of a particular topic. In a typical lesson we will start with basic concepts, then we will illustrate them with few examples, to later move to practical exercises (learn by doing) with increasing difficulty.

Hoi!
Ik ben Antoine, een MSc afgestudeerd in Applied Mathematics aan de TU Delft.

Tijdens al mijn studies heb ik middelbare scholieren en bachelorstudenten bijles gegeven in wiskunde, Frans en Italiaans.

Nu ik me in dit nieuwe land heb gevestigd, wil ik graag weer beginnen met bijles geven. Dus als je het moeilijk hebt met wiskunde (of in een van die talen) op welk niveau dan ook, zal ik je graag alle hulp geven die je nodig hebt!

Ik heb in het verleden zowel face-to-face als via de webcam bijles gegeven. Ik kan beide methodes goed gebruiken, hoewel ik denk dat het veel gemakkelijker is om te helpen tijdens een live sessie, daarom vind ik het prima om in de zone Den Haag/Rotterdam te verhuizen.

Leren door samen te werken. We kijken samen naar hoe we de les zo tof mogelijk kunnen maken.
We gaan echte situaties creëren, rollenspellen doen om every day life Engels echt te maken.
Relevante oefeningen waarin jij als student veel zelf doet, praat, oefeningen doet en veel fouten mag maken zodat je zoveel mogelijk kan leren. Fouten maken is namelijk helemaal niet erg. Het is dé weg naar leren.
Ik ben geduldig, open, resultaat gericht en het is mijn passie om jou te helpen een beter begrip en goed gebruik van de Engelse taal te laten ontwikkelen. Zodat er meer deuren, nu of in de toekomst, voor je open gaan.

Most people need to revise the basics of language over and over again in order to master it, and having a good knowledge of how the language works at its core, i.e. its grammar, will help improve one's language skills drastically.
I think the best way of learning a language is by familiarizing yourself with it. I therefore like to conduct my lessons mainly in the target language. Moreover, I will tailor my lesson to the students' needs, a language has 4 core parts (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), and each of us has different strong points and weaknesses when it comes to expressing ourselves in a second language.
I will ways try to keep a relaxed learning environment where the student feels comfortable learning and making mistakes.

I believe that learning languages should be fun and entertaining, not just a chore, so I have individual program for each student that I create based on the factors discussed before we start. After our first class I will create a program that I believe is best suitable, however it can be altered and negotiated per your request.

Spanish is second most spoken language in the world, not only is it useful it's also very beautiful and rich with unique culture. TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 10 students for the entrance exam.

Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most. After this, I will help the student complete some practice excercises, and then assign extra practice to complete on their own time. These exercises will then be reviewed in the following class to ensure the topics have been understood.
