I am a native English speaker, living in Germany. I have been teaching German to beginners for three years. My students have ranged from children as young as 7, to adults working in German speaking countries.

My class will be tailored to your needs as a student - whether that is conversation for a holiday, or the essentials you need to get by living and working in Germany.

I prefer to teach 1-1, but if you are interested in group lessons please get in touch!

I tutor students in pre-vocational secondary education, senior general secondary education and pre-university education (VWO). I have a HEAO Economic Linguistics diploma and have extensive experience in giving private lessons and teaching via Skype.

Hi I am Fariël!

I've been learning English and French since I was 10, and German since I was 15. I studied in Berlin, Paris, and Bristol, and later completed my bachelor’s degree Switzerland in French (C2 – native level). I also hold two EF diplomas in English (C2 – native) and German (B2). After that, I did my master’s degree in London.

In our first lesson, we’ll chat about what you want to focus on — maybe pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary. I’ll get a sense of your level through a relaxed conversation, and then we’ll find the best way for you to make progress and enjoy learning the language.
