This class is a level1 English class which teaches all the Foundations of English Conversation & Literacy. This class is designed for non-native speakers looking to develop basic English language skills in a supportive, interactive environment. Focus is placed on practical communication, building foundational vocabulary, and improving pronunciation for daily life. Students will engage in conversation, role-playing, and basic reading/writing activities to increase confidence in speaking and listening. There will be lesson plans that incorporate the Communicative Language Teaching method, the Task-based learning method & the Direct Method. This is in order to ensure all types of learners are able to comprehend the material in a way that works best for their learning styles. The main topics that we will go over in this level 1 course is: Greetings, family, shopping, work, community, and basic present/past tense grammar.
