I give English lessons in Tunis or online to all levels varying from beginner to advanced individually or for a group. The lesson can be done in the customers house depending on their preference. Lessons will generally last between 90 to 120 minutes depending on what the student wants. The way I teach is not a conventional way. I usually try to involve my students as much as possible in my lessons and try to make them independent so that they continue progressing even after we are done with the lessons. Casual and business conversation. 20 years experience teaching at ECC. I started teaching in 2000. Now semi-retired. I still enjoy teaching. I was born in El Salvador and I grew up in the USA. So I grew up bilingual. Lived in the West Coast for 13 years. Graduated from UW-Madison (in Wisconsin). Lived in Chicago before moving to Nagoya.

A little bit about my background... Currently I’m running a school in Japan and I work as a headteacher. I have 10 years of teaching experience in both English and Japanese, providing group lessons and private lessons primarily in Japan and Toronto. I grew up in Japan, therefore, I am fluent in Japanese. Besides English and Japanese, I’m also fluent in Farsi. After graduating from a Japanese high school, I went to University of Toronto to study Life Science and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science. I was hired as a language teacher in one of the language school located in downtown Toronto. While I was in Toronto, I aimed to provide maximum opportunities for both Japanese and foreign students to share their perspectives and opinions on different topics while understanding cultural, habitual and historical differences. I have always been eager to learn different language and I had always loved teaching outside of work during my free time, which led me to build my career in education and I have obtained many years of professional teaching experiences over time.
