Hello there! My name is Elisabetta and I am from Sardinia, Italy. Before moving to London, I taught Italian to immigrant children and I have recently started again with adults in England. I have studied Latin and Ancient Greek for five years and this has helped me to gain a solid knowledge of Italian grammar.
Depending on your goals, I will focus each lesson on a different topic, providing you with the relevant notes and material. First I will give you an explanation of the grammar and we will then practice it through conversation. At the end of every lesson, I will ask you some question to test your understanding. If there is anything in particular you want to learn, I am very happy to fulfill your requests and to structure every lesson according to your interest.

My three main areas of expertise (not necessarily in this order):

- Chess: I teach chess to beginners and intermediate players up to ELO 1800 or ECF 1700, working on the tactical and strategic aspects of openings, middle games and endgames.. "chess is life in miniature"!

- Fitness / Running / Triathlon: I coach people who want to get fitter and generally incorporate any endurance activity into a health(ier) lifestyle. I am a dedicated coach who has competed in several marathons and Ironman races (also qualified for the Ironman World Championship). I focus on nutrition, stress and sleep as well for a holistic approach.

- Languages: I specialize in tutoring Italian and Spanish; my style is to keep students challenged and motivated through simple classes and practical exercises (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary).. I'm a demanding teacher but will guide you in a fun and interactive way.
