Learn to make womenswear patterns or pattern blocks from scratch. Master the craft of bespoke pattern drafting, perfect for haute couture dressmaking. Four-hour classes feature the following topics:
Day 1 - Measurement Taking
Basic Skirt Block Pattern
Day 2 - Types of Skirt: Wrap, A-line, Panel, Godet, Gore, Circle, Gathered, Pleated
Day 3 - Basic Bodice Block Pattern
Basic Cuts (darts & seams)
Day 4 - Collars: Trubenised, Mandarin,Sports, Peter Pan, Baby, Sailor
Basic Sleeve
Day 5 - Necklines: V, Square, Sweetheart, Halter, Bustier, Off-shoulder, Plunging
Day 6 - Cowls : Neckline , Back, Sleeve, Off-shoulder, Skirt
Day 7 - Sleeves: Leg-of-Mutton, Semi puff & full puff, Bell, Circle, Raglan, Dolman, Batwing, Swirl
Day 8 - Twist & Swirl ( variations)

من أنا؟
I have been a dress designer for 20 years and I have designed over 25 capsule collections. I specialise in evening and special occasion wear and I employ haute couture techniques in my designs. I have 10 years experience in fashion education, specialising in creative pattern making and construction. I am results oriented, and my ability to inspire my students is my strongest suit. Most importantly, I will show you how to enjoy the process, as well as the product. Welcome to my class!
