I lived and worked in the UK for 16 years before moving to France. I am fascinated by the language and I am very close to a native speaker, in fact if I didn't tell you I was Latvian, you would think I was English! I love teaching. I teach students, as well as adults who want to improve their English for professional reasons.
My experience over the past 10 years has allowed me to develop a simple and effective method that adapts to the needs of the student, taking into account their interests. This way, the student becomes seriously involved and progresses quickly.
My native ear allows me to have a real impact on the pronunciation and accent of the student, without ever neglecting the importance of learning to write. In addition, my experience as a translator allows me to teach the different nuances of the language in the most efficient way possible.

I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student with a Masters in International Public Law (Amsterdam) and a Masters in Global development (University of Copenhagen). World traveler, I have lived in Thailand, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands, US, Switzerland and many more countries, where I both dtudies and worked as a legal advisor.

I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.

Then, we review any missing theory, and finally, we redo the exercises that are causing difficulty.
