Hello everyone, I am Diogo, a 19 years old trombonist from Portugal. At the moment I am studying my bachelors degree at the Hochschule Luzern - Musik with Prof. Martin Schippers. I am a Music lover and want to pass this passion to new people. Last season 2022/2023 I was Praktikant in TOBS - Theater Orchester Biel-Solothurn and won some International Competitons.

I started learning music and trombone back in 2013 in my hometown in Portugal. After completing high school, I decided to come to Switzerland to do my bachelor degree with Prof. Martin Schippers.

Ich habe Erfahrung im Unterrichten sowohl auf privater Ebene als auch in Schulen und Ausbildungsprogrammen in Musik und Sprachen (Spanisch / Englisch). Ich habe sowohl mit Kindern als auch mit Erwachsenen bei der Vorbereitung offizieller Prüfungen gearbeitet. Ich bin ein Absolvent der Musikrichtung Klavier am Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester und arbeite sowohl als Lehrer als auch als professioneller Musiker.
Während meines Studiums belegte ich Kurse in Musikpädagogik, Ausbildung und sammelte Erfahrungen in verschiedenen Methoden. Ich habe eine kreative und flexible Herangehensweise, die sich an die Bedürfnisse der Schüler anpasst.
Ich habe Erfahrung im Unterrichten verschiedener Stilrichtungen (Jazz, Klassik, Pop) sowie in Musiktheorie und Komposition. Ich erkunde gerne eine Vielzahl von Stilen und Aktivitäten, damit die Schüler ihren Weg wählen und ihre Musikalität in allen Aspekten entwickeln können.

Ofrezco clases de piano/teoría/formación auditiva en todos los niveles y edades con más de 5 años de experiencia en academias, colegios y clases particulares. Mi método es flexible ya que mis alumnos tienen diferentes personalidades, intereses, necesidades u objetivos, añadiendo entrenamiento auditivo, solfeo o métodos dinámicos si estoy enseñando a niños, siempre me adapto al ser clases privadas.
Creo que el piano es uno de los instrumentos más importantes y especiales para aprender y me encanta compartir mi pasión por la música con mis alumnos, creo que es la mejor manera de aprender y enseñar.
En cuanto a mis estudios, terminé mi licenciatura en piano clásico y ahora estoy estudiando una maestría en música contemporánea en la Universidad de Lucerna, ¡así que puedo tocar y enseñar diferentes estilos y períodos de música!
Puedo enseñar en inglés, español y muy pronto en alemán ya que ahora estoy aprendiendo el idioma.

I am currently enrolled in the Master in Performance at HSLU, where I have the opportunity to deepen my knowledge in music and enhance my skills as an instrumentalist. For me, studying music and learning an instrument is a pleasurable and enriching experience, and I believe this feeling should be shared with my students.

As a teacher, I adapt my teaching style to the individual needs and difficulties of each student, as well as to their musical goals and ideals.
