Interior Design Lessons/ Portfolio Prep to suit your needs
I offer personalised one-to-one interior design tutoring for students, aspiring designers and individuals looking to strengthen their creative, technical and professional skills.
I hold a Master's degree in Interior and Spatial Design from the University of the Arts London, graduating with Distinction. My professional experience includes working at internationally acclaimed luxury design studios Bryan O'Sullivan Studio and WATG / Wimberly Interiors, as well as Residence One, where I worked on super-prime residential projects across Central London.
Drawing on both my academic background and professional industry experience, I provide practical, tailored guidance across a wide range of interior design disciplines.
Areas I can help with include:
Interior & Spatial Design: Space planning, furniture layouts, design principles, functionality and spatial composition.
Design Software: AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign and digital design workflows.
Technical Drawing: Floor plans, elevations, sections, drawing conventions and technical documentation.
Concept & Design Development: Research, creative exploration, design storytelling and translating initial ideas into developed proposals.
Materials & FF&E: Furniture, fixtures and equipment selection, material specifications, finishes, supplier sourcing and mood boards.
Visual Communication: Design presentations, material boards, Photoshop editing and professional presentation layouts.
Academic Support: Guidance with university projects, design briefs, constructive critiques and developing independent problem-solving skills.
Portfolio Development: Creating and improving portfolios for university applications, internships and professional opportunities.
Professional Development: Understanding industry practices, project workflows and the expectations of professional interior design studios.
My teaching approach is supportive, practical and adapted to each student's individual needs, whether they are completely new to interior design or looking to develop more advanced skills.
I aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world design practice, helping students build technical confidence, develop their creativity and become more independent designers.
Lessons are available online and can focus on specific software skills, ongoing design projects or broader interior design development.
