Welcome to my guitar courses! I graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with a bachelor's degree in jazz guitar and am currently pursuing a master's degree, which I expect to complete in 2026. Starting in 2025, I will also be studying IGP (instrumental and vocal pedagogy) in jazz guitar at the KUG. With over 9 years of teaching experience – from my beginnings in Athens, Greece, to my current residence in Graz, Austria – I have worked with students of all ages and experience levels. Every student is unique – therefore, lessons are individually tailored to your musical interests and goals. What we can work on together in class: 1.Guitar & fretboard knowledge Learn to truly understand your instrument – this will not only help you learn your favorite songs, but also help you make music creatively. 2.Song accompaniment Develop your skills as a rhythm guitarist: chords, strumming and fingerstyle techniques, rhythmic patterns in different styles. 3. Improvisation Especially essential in jazz – together we work on the necessary tools such as arpeggios, triads, theoretical basics and phrasing. 4.Rhythm training Improve your sense of time and develop a solid rhythmic foundation – essential for any musical style. 5.Harmony, modern music theory & composition Dive deeper into the structure of music and learn how to write your own pieces. 6. Playing technique We work specifically on your technique – e.g. alternate picking, sweep picking, hybrid picking, legato, etc. 7.Repertoire Learn songs and solos in your favorite style – whether rock, jazz, pop, funk, metal or more. As a qualified music theorist, I can offer you a wide variety of music theory courses, from reading and learning music notation for beginners to analysis for advanced students. As a student of music theory and composition pedagogy, I can help and guide you in composing your own music! I've also been playing the violin for 15 years and the piano for 7 years, and I'd be happy to give you lessons on both instruments and help you revisit basic music theory on both. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Professional violinist, soloist, concert master and teacher offering online violin lessons. I am currently employed as an assistant violin professor at the Ljubljana Music Academy and have been working as concert master of Philharmonie Salzburg and Ljubljana Soloists for the better part of the last decade. My concert experience involves soloistic and chamber music performances at prestigious venues and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and China. My pedagogical approach is very systematic and includes technical preparation, musical interpretation, performance practice of different styles and orchestral audition preparation. I studied violin with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and Rainer Schmidt at the Music Academy Basel as well as baroque violin with David Plantier at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have lately been dedicating special attention to the performance practice of the baroque and classical eras so you are welcome to consult me on this topic as well as any other violin playing aspect. I am a young and relaxed teacher, willing to adapt my way of teaching to the level and expectation of every individual. Students of all ages and levels are welcome to contact me. I am here in Graz studying classical singing and opera performance in Master's programme. I come from Estonia and there, aside from singing studies, I worked as a teacher of music theory subjects (solfeggio, prima vista, basic theory) at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College (conservatory level) for 4 years (2018-2022) and was the head teacher of the department for music theory for 2 years (2020-2022). I also had multiple private students and offered a course to help people prepare their music theory knowledge and skills for the entrance exams to the conservatory. In this class, you will decide what you want to learn, and I will give you lessons and homework based on that, your skill level, and your preferred genre group (western classical or contemporary).

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
