Math Tutor for University Students & Applicants - OMPT/ CCVX/ VWO Admission Prep, Calculus, Linear Algebra & More
From 62 $ /h
I work with two kinds of students: those preparing to meet university math admission requirements (OMPT, CCVX, VWO), and those already enrolled who need solid support in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, probability & statistics, or discrete math including students at TUM, ETH Zurich, TU Delft, KTH, EPFL, and RWTH Aachen.
Lessons are in English; I can explain in German where it helps.

Extra information
What You Can Expect:
Structured prep toward your specific admission test (OMPT, CCVX, VWO) - not generic math review, but targeted practice on the exact question types and scoring criteria.
If you're already enrolled, direct help with the course you're actually taking - I work from your university's syllabus and problem sets, not a generic curriculum.
Clear explanations in English, with German available when a concept needs it explained a different way.
Honest feedback on where you actually stand, so effort goes where it's needed instead of where it's comfortable
A structured plan with a real endpoint, passing the test, or getting through the course, not open-ended tutoring with no target.

About Me
When I first started tutoring, I thought I was "just" helping with math. Over time I realized the real shift happens when a student stops feeling intimidated by a subject and starts thinking through problems independently. That's what I actually teach.
I hold a degree in Computer Engineering and I'm currently completing a Master's in Mathematics. I've been tutoring since 2019, with a 5.0 rating across 33 reviews and 20 repeat students.
My focus is students moving between education systems - different countries, different curricula, different languages of instruction - who need to build real command of the math their target university expects, not memorized shortcuts. I teach in English and German.
My strongest track record is Dutch university admission math (OMPT, CCVX, VWO), including German-speaking students using it as their route into Dutch universities. I'm also working with students preparing for SAT math and IB math, applying the same structured, first-principles approach.
Lessons combine clear explanations, real-world applications, and honest feedback. I'd rather tell you exactly where you stand than tell you what's comfortable to hear. Whether you're catching up, preparing for an admission exam, or building toward advanced coursework, the goal is the same: you leave understanding why, not just how.

I'm a working MEP engineer, currently building Python automation for Revit workflows daily - plan checks, model coordination, and repetitive drafting tasks. I teach other engineers, architects, and BIM professionals how to do the same, using pyRevit and real project workflows, not toy examples.
Topics include:
pyRevit fundamentals and setup
Automating repetitive Revit tasks (model checks, plan generation, data extraction)
Writing custom scripts for your firm's specific workflows
Applying Python automation to real MEP/BIM projects

Many students lose confidence in math over the school year - not from lack of ability, but from pace, gaps, or one bad unit that never got resolved. This summer program (through mid-September) is built to fix that before the new year starts, not just review generally.
I work with middle and high school students, including IB, to close specific gaps not a broad refresher, but targeted work on exactly what's holding a student back. I bring the same structured, evidence-based approach I use with my university-admission students: identify precisely what's missing, build a plan around it, and track real progress, not just hours logged.
Best for students who want a calm, focused reset before the new academic year begins not for open-ended tutoring with no target
