I have studied a Degree in Mathematics in my country where I had the opportunity to specialise myself in Pure Mathematics, more concretely in Algebraic Geometry which is the field of my thesis. My focus was mechanics and calculus but my teaching skills extend to all levels of from A-level below. My focus on teaching is to try and bring maths alive with the more fascinating ways in which different areas of maths can conjoin and impact the real world. Why are beehives hexagonal shaped for example? Why do spider webs mimic certain road maps?
