Hallo!

Ik ben Ilias. Docent aan de opleiding Toegepaste Psychologie aan de Hogeschool van Amsterdam.

Mijn expertise zit in het begeleiden van studenten in hun afstudeerfase. Ik help met overzicht bewaken op de tijdsplanning. Ik geef feedback op scriptie onderdelen. En ik help jou vooral om een logisch verhaal te verkrijgen in jouw scriptieonderzoek. Jouw verhaal!

Hoe het werkt:
- stuur mij voor onze afspraak jouw stuk
- stuur ook de richtlijnen waaraan jouw opdracht moet voldoen
- geef aan waar jouw leerbehoefte ligt. Waar heb je hulp bij nodig?

Tijdens de sessie:
- kijken we naar jouw leerbehoefte, planning en is er ruimte voor vragen
- Krijg je feedback en feedforward. Dan weet je hoe je ervoor staat en waar je nog verbeteringen kunt maken.
- aan het eind heb je de keuze om incidenteel een vervolgafspraak te maken of om een vervolgtraject af te stemmen.

I'm Joseph, and I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2019. I'm the first member of my family to ever go to that prestigious university, and I come from rural France, where the number of students at my schools who went to Oxbridge could be counted on the fingers of one hand. My help is therefore catered both to those who've aimed to go to such universities for years, and those who don't know where to start to make it possible!

I offer tutoring in qualitative and quantitative research methods for the Social Sciences, as well as essay and academic writing support. Drawing on my academic background and professional experience, I can assist students with:

- Learning and applying different research methods effectively
- Understanding and using SPSS for statistical analysis
- Improving essay writing and academic communication skills
- Writing, structuring, and reviewing their theses
With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (cum laude) from Leiden University and two Research Master’s degrees—one in Political Communication and one in Political Science—I have a strong foundation in research and academic writing. As a current Teaching Assistant at the University of Amsterdam, I have hands-on experience guiding university students in these areas. Additionally, my work as an Honours Ambassador and Information Officer at Leiden University honed my skills in supporting students at various academic levels.

Inoltre, il mio ruolo come Ambasciatrice dell'Honours College e Information Officer all'Università di Leiden mi ha permesso di sviluppare competenze nel supportare studenti in vari percorsi accademici.

Learning Italian is not just about learning a language, it’s understanding a world, a culture, a way of doing but most of all, we will make a travel thru literature, cinema, fine arts.

I have been teaching for 5 years, I have been working in a big library for children, I studied philosophy and I am truly passionated by languages and education.

I can offer a very straight lesson made of lexicon and grammars or a very joyful time with poetry and music.

Ik motiveer altijd mijn leerlingen om hun best te doen en tijdens de les in het Frans te praten. Ik geef altijd huiswerk om schrijfvaardigheden te oefenen.
Vanaf B1 niveau spreken we over nieuws en cultuur, mijn lessen zijn altijd concreet en doelgericht. Herhalen is ook een deel van mijn lessen, zodat leerlingen met vertrouw nieuwe stof kunnen leren.
Eindelijk bied ik ook Delf examen trainingen vanaf A1 tot B2 niveaus - een diploma die voor veel Hotelscholen nodig is en ook om in Franstalige landen te kunnen werken en studeren.
