I'm currently undertaking a PhD in Global Environmental Politics at the University of Lincoln (UK) but based in Amsterdam. I have previously completed an MSc in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE, UK) and a BA in Philosophy at the University of Bristol (UK).

I have extensive experience teaching Bachelors students on Politics and International Relations modules, including running workshops on essay writing, setting and marking essays, and providing constructive feedback for improved essay writing.

I can also assist students for whom English is their second language - to write essays in a more academic and formal style.

I'm from the UK, based in Amsterdam for 2 years so far whilst completing my PhD remotely.
I have extensive experience with teaching Bachelors students on social science modules, and running workshops on academic essay writing.

I specialise in helping students improve their formal English language skills, which can be used for essay writing, CV/Resume writing and motivation letters. Furthermore, I also help students improve their business english and help to build up confidence in their professional environment.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2017 I have assisted students from different study backgrounds (from civil engineering to psychology) with writing their thesis and since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and I teach private students.

Hey! My name is Yasmin, I was born in Denmark, mainly raised in the Netherlands, but moved more than 14 times to different countries and cities. I have always attended an international school and received my Bachelor's degree in English & Pre-Law from the University of California Santa Barbara last summer. I have decided to continue my studies and am currently studying international & European law.
I provide English tutoring where we can focus together on whatever you need, such as: writing, speaking, writing essays and creative writing. I can also help with homework or help with public speaking and giving presentations in English, of course. Being a native French speaker with a Bachelor’s in Literature and Philosophy, I can help you learn French in all its forms: oral and written comprehension, speaking and writing.
