I am excited to share my expertise in the following areas with you: -Biology -Learning/study skills -Time management The class is designed around your particular needs, so that you can get the most out of our time together. Through 10 years of tutoring a diverse set of students, I've enjoyed channeling my passion for mentorship and biology with hundreds of total hours across different subjects including biology, writing, study skills/time management, and MD and MD/PhD admissions. Through a personalized learning process that I build for each student to achieve mastery and success, I am committed for each student to enjoy a memorable and enriching tutoring and mentorship experience. I am looking forward to doing with same with you! Through my extensive tutoring and academic career, I've built a repertoire of strategies and resources for you to learn efficiently for building knowledge and increasing memory retention. Academic/research background: I have conducted independent research in five labs during my undergraduate years, which include pathology, cell biology, and biochemistry. Research has also led me to co-author two publications including a recent publication in Nature Cell Biology. Awards: I am the recipient of the Dean's Achievement Scholarship, the Barry Goldwater Scholarship Honorable Mention, Phi Beta Kappa, and Robert T. Jones Scholarship. I was also awarded the Darrell Stokes Award, given to one senior, graduating Biology major who has contributed to both the Department of Biology and the Emory community.
