With over 20 years of experience teaching piano to children and adults, I am passionate about inspiring students to find joy in music. My lessons are tailored to your individual needs, whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or LCM exams or simply want to explore the beauty of piano playing.

You can learn classical pieces by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin or modern works by Einaudi and Yiruma—whatever matches your interests! My teaching combines practical piano skills, correct hand posture, and smooth technique with basic music theory, creating a well-rounded and engaging learning experience.

My name is Cindy, and I bring over 20 years of experience in music and piano education. Teaching has been my passion since graduating from university, where I began my journey as a full-time piano teacher. My lessons go beyond piano performance, offering a comprehensive approach that includes sight-reading, music theory, and aural training tailored to each student’s needs.

I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages—children, teenagers, and adults—at every skill level. My teaching style is flexible and personalized, adapting to each student’s interests, goals, and unique strengths. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine advanced skills, I’m here to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

-2014 & 2015: Assessor for the finals of the Chinese Children’s Little Golden Bell Music Competition – Hong Kong and Macao District.
-2015: Judge for the “Lotus Cup” Macau Youth Piano Competition, organized by the Macau Piano Association to promote classical piano music in the region.
-2016: Recipient of the Excellent Tutor Award at the Hong Kong International Youth Performing Arts Festival.
-2017: Awarded the Excellent Piano Teacher Reward at the 21st Hamamatsu PIARA Piano Competition in recognition of dedication and teaching excellence.
-2022: Jury member for the inaugural Dutch-Chinese Piano Competition in Eindhoven, evaluating and supporting emerging talents.
