If your child shows interest in singing or playing an instrument, and you would love to develop his/her musicality, feel free to contact me regarding piano and music lessons. My methods are personalized especially for a child I am working with, meaning I am making an individual plan and choosing appropriate learning methods, combining: playing the piano, singing, gradually introducing music theory and history, rhythmical exercises, improvisation for kids and movements. I use an interdisciplinary approach to music art. I would like to mention the importance of technical part of playing and instrument, developing correct sitting and spine posture.

About Me

As I have a lot of experience, during my teaching time I developed diverse teaching methods. I develop individual methods for every student and try to make the most out of the student's potential. I work also with very young children that show music potential, from 5 years on. My students won a lot of awards and have played various programs, depending on their character and possibilities. I also help with choosing the program for diverse occasions- entrance exams. My second field of work for a long time now is piano accompaniment for every instrument and singers of all genres.

May I introduce myself?

my name is Yunjeong.
I was born in 1996 in Ulsan, South Korea.
When I was a child, I loved listening to classical music a lot. I started playing the piano when I was 6.
In 2012 I started studying at Busan High School of Arts. I graduated from this course when I was 19, and then went on to study at Chugye Art University in Seoul. There I had the opportunity to learn a lot and to play with different musicians.
I am currently attending the Franz Schubert Conservatory for a Master of Music. I'm studying piano there.

While learning to play the piano, I have taught diverse students with different musical experiences.

I could see a lot of improvement besides that.

I still want to teach more students for your fun, aim, study and achieve well enough.

I would be very happy if I could teach many students with my knowledge of music.

LEARNING BY HEART

Learn to play/sing favorite songs:
- Depending on your ability, we simplify (or enrich) the accompaniment and improve it in a fluid manner
- I'll show you various "hacks" and shortcuts
- you don't have to do anything "right", you can follow the fun.
- play/practice without pressure, how does that work...? You can make it easier for yourself! How much time you invest stays with you. :-)
- any style possible, as long as it makes sense for you technically
- Singing: easy!

Write your own songs:
- I give you different "glasses", "rails" through which you come up with new ideas, both for the music as well as the lyrics and singing
- "writers block" - from the head back to the heart using simple techniques
- learn to use the hidden treasure trove of ideas in your body (subconscious)!
- and most importantly: have fun with “bad” songs!

- you will find clear goals for each hour (e.g. record a song or parts of it,...), for the next few weeks and for the next months
