About Me

My method of teaching is mostly through practice. I explain the theory and then assign several exercises for the students to better understand the theory. For SAT and TOEFL, practice using exam-like questions and tests.

Best way to learn a language is to speak it.

I believe you can learn and master a language by speaking it. This class is to encourage speaking in english during one on one conversations or in a group. The conversations would vary around mutual topics of interest and while we are at it, I would help correct the grammar pronunciation and rythm.

Mastering different languages is a major asset, especially in a Europe that wants to be open to the world. After a master 2 (English MEEF) I chose to teach part-time in English to be able to work in parallel as a ULIS coordinator with young people with autism spectrum disorders as well as learning disabilities. At the same time, I validated a Master 2 (MEEF educational framework - inclusive education). Our Method:

2) Go over the meanings and new words you may have come across.
3) Either debate or give your point of view about the article in question. This is the fun part!!
4) Test out what you have learnt by talking with our virtual character in Virtual Reality!

I have been teaching english for over 5 years now and I have already got experience with 10 children (in kindergarten and primary school). All of my clients I have got on recommendation, which proves that parents were satisfied with my methods and aware of the results.
My idea is to prepare interesting, individual lessons, based on children's character and preference.
Many of my lessons consisted of watching animated cartoons with english subtitles, which I would stop every now and then in order to ask my student me how he has understood the part that we have just seen and translated some words. At the end there would be exercise with the words that appeared in the cartoon.
Another type of lessons was preparing handouts related to topics that attract the child's interest.

Generally speaking, I like teaching english, because seeing the child's progress is one of the nicest flow of satisfaction in the world.
I am quite understanding but rather demanding. I always give homework.
