About Me

I am an international artist, founder of the duo JATHB, a musical project recognized for its immersive approach blending North African traditions, Sufism and contemporary electronic music.
I am also a producer and sound designer, specializing in sound synthesis (analog systems, granular synthesis) and advanced approaches to sound design, particularly those inspired by fractal logic applied to music creation. I also have extensive experience with samplers, especially the Akai MPC standalone, which I use in live performance and production contexts.
As a multi-instrumentalist, I work with a wide range of instruments including the bendir, handpan, didgeridoo, gombri (stambeli) and karkabou, which I integrate into hybrid sound environments blending acoustic and electronic elements.

Some may have noticed that it's possible to automate a series of actions by recording "macros" to save time. But have you ever considered that behind these macros lies computer code generated for you in "Visual Basic for Applications" (VBA)?
