Being a professional myself, I know how to help you improve your portfolio or if you are looking for something more hobby-oriented, I can encourage you to take on creative exercises and develop ideas. I aim for my lessons to be engaging and I respect everyone's needs and pace whilst in a learning environment. I offer personalised drawing lessons, where we explore creative exercises and I can help with any challenges you bring to the table. Some of the specific methods and drawing/painting techniques I can share include: - Proportions and Space - Observational Drawing. - Stylised Drawing - Sketchbook exercises/routines - Charcoal, Watercolours, Line Art, Digital Art - 2D Animation techniques I can also give you specific feedback on any current projects you have (school or university-related as well) and mentor your progress. I'm an independent artist, specialising in 2D Animation and Illustration. I'm currently living in Scotland, I'm doing freelance work and I have directed award-winning animation shorts that had their way around the world through film festival tours. I'm originally from Portugal and I moved to the UK for education purposes. I graduated from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham with a 1st Class BA(Hons) Animation Degree. On top of that, I also helped my brother gain entry into Cambridge University for Economics and have seen countless other students succeed under my mentorship. This is because I recognise that there is a process and that if students follow that process, they are guaranteed to succeed. I try my best to make learning enjoyable for students but I also have high expectations as I believe every student has it in them to achieve the top grades. I provide homework for each and every lesson. If students struggle with it, they come to me the following lesson and we go through the mistakes. Excellent friendly communication, easy to arrange lessons at a time that's convenient for me. After an initial discussion she made a lesson plan based on the specific areas I wanted to focus on, with additional lessons based on areas she identified. Lessons are friendly and open - concepts are clearly communicated with room to ask as many questions as needed.

We are just getting started, but our experiences with Oliver have been great so far. He is prompt to communicate, professional and very patient. He does a good job of understanding where my daughter is, helping her at her level, and not making her feel bad that she is having a tough time with Math. Highly recommend!
