A LEVEL CLASSES - Psychology, Sociology & Politics (revision or covering new material)

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

I am eager to help young people feel confident when writing sociology essays. I will place an emphasis on deconstructing the questions students are given by encouraging them to reword the question to offer a different perspective on it. In addition, the main aim of a sociology essay is to convince the reader more and more of the argument you have claimed in the introduction. I want to help students do this by helping them follow the PEAL structure, i.e. Point, Evidence, Analysis, Link back to question. I have found this a very effective and coherent way of structuring an essay. I have studied Sociology for 7 years now, at AS/A Level, Undergraduate Level and now at MSc level at LSE. I was awarded First-Class Honours in my undergraduate as well as 'Best Dissertation of the year' by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am seeking a potential career in academia so I truly feel passionate about engaging with the lesson plans on this platform and helping students feel confident in their essay writing.

I am a Doctor of Psychology and researcher. Since October 2016 I have been successfully tutoring many B.A. and M.A. and Ph.D. level students and professionals who required help with Psychology (AS, A-level, and Degree level), Data analysis, SPSS, jamovi, JASP, R, Statistics, Research Methods, or were looking for assistance with their research projects/ theses/ dissertations. I am specialised in Clinical Psychology (reading disability/ dyslexia), although I have good knowledge in other fields of psychology, as well as research methodology and data analysis (expert in SPSS). Public speaking is generally understood to be formal, face to face, speaking from a single person to a group of listeners. ▪️ Based on the student’s request, this course may also include some skills in Marketing, Promotion, Digital Optimization, and SEO, where you will earn: • An integrated digital marketing strategy based on your own organizational context. • Skills to effectively analyze and leverage data to make breakthrough data-driven decisions. • A future perspective on marketing and an overview of how to use emerging digital channels and technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and chatbots, within your organization. • Accept the challenges and opportunities of disruptive technology in your digital marketing strategy.

I have other areas of knowledge, such as Mathematics and Physics, so just ask and I may be able to tutor you in those areas too. This is only for students at A-level or below. Furthermore, this is not a counselling service, I can teach you about Psychology, but I am not qualified to assist with any psychological issues that you may have.

This class offers personalized instruction in philosophical and/or sociological theory, suited both for students seeking academic support and for individuals with a general interest in a philosophical topic. Sessions are designed according to the student’s goals, whether it’s clarifying course material, preparing written assignments, or exploring theoretical texts independently. I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Philosophy. My areas of specialization include ancient philosophy, early modern philosophy, and phenomenology. I also hold a background in sociology, which allows me to offer interdisciplinary approaches to social theory and critical thought. Sessions can be focused on specific authors or movements (e.g. Plato, Spinoza, feminist theory), or organized thematically around concepts such as love, beauty, perception, or subjectivity. Assisting with structure, referencing, possible sources to include, and checking spelling and grammar I'm currently undertaking a PhD in Global Environmental Politics at the University of Lincoln (UK) but based in Amsterdam. I have previously completed an MSc in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE, UK) and a BA in Philosophy at the University of Bristol (UK).
