Hi! I’m Oleg, a professional guitarist and music educator based in Groningen, Netherlands. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar from Prins Claus Conservatorium, however most of my musical education happened on real stages — performing, touring, and working full-time as a musician since 2016. I’ve toured internationally aboard Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, P&O, Cunard, Ponant, and Princess Cruises, performing everything from solo sets and jazz nights to full-scale theatre productions with singers, dancers, and a full technical crew for audiences up to 1500 people. This experience shaped me into a truly versatile musician — equally comfortable playing jazz, rock, blues, funk, bossanova, pop. 🔽 I can teach you how to play: ⚡️🎸Electric guitar 🎵🎸Acoustic guitar 🔊🎸Bass guitar 🎼🎸Classical guitar 🔽 What you’ll get: ➡️ 1-on-1 private lesson via Zoom or in person at my home studio ➡️ Personalized approach for your skill level and musical goals ➡️ Focus on the basics: technique, rhythm, harmony, ear development ➡️ Real-world insights from a full-time performing musician ➡️ Sheet music, exercises and backing tracks tailored for you ➡️ Lessons available in English or Russian 🔽 Lesson focus areas: 🎸 Technique 🎶 Improvisation & Composition 🎸 Fretboard knowledge 🎵 Ear training 📘 Music theory & harmony & sight-reading 💻 Music notation (Sibelius, Guitar Pro) 🔽 All levels welcome Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or you’re an experienced player wanting to sharpen your skills, I tailor every lesson to your needs. If you’re ready to grow as a musician and learn in a way that actually feels musical and inspiring — send me a message with your goals, and we’ll start from there.

Hallo allemaal, als je van muziek houdt en erover denkt om celloles te nemen, dan deel ik graag mijn kennis en ervaring met je! Hello everyone, if you like music and you're thinking about taking cello lessons, I will be more than happy to share my knowledge and expirience with you! I like to teach my students the technique and musical abilities necessary to understand and enjoy music. My aim during the cello lessons it's always to make sure that the student is having a nice time and enjoying music while they learn! I have been in Groningen for three weeks and I'm starting to learn dutch. I can understand a bit, since I speak German fluently, but the lessons are mostly in English at the moment. I hope in a near future will be dutch as well ;) I have a great experience in teaching students from different ages. I can teach beginner students and introduce them to music and cello. I have received training on young children music training. I also can teach more advanced students and older people, as I have also experience in this field. I have done a lot of private cello lessons during my studies, I worked as a substitute teacher in music schools from Spain, and I have been working for one year as a music teacher in Austria. For the lessons it is important to have the instrument, but we can search for it together, once we start with the lessons. It doesn't have to be a super professional one for starting learning:) I can also help with music solfège and harmony basics, so that we can make sure that every student it's able to read and understand music. I'm active musician always learning from my master studies and performance expirience. I like also to be involved in further education in the field of teaching.

Trusted teacher: Hello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching. In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs. In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.
