History is a subject often considered uninteresting. But I try to design my course according to your needs, your difficulties and even facilities in order to create a course in which you will flourish. Also, I am a student in History and therefore I can help you with the methodology and recommend several books to deepen your subjects. The course will be divided according to the periods: First, Ancient Rome, from Romulus to the death of Nero where we will study the different aspects of Roman life and its politics. We will also study Ancient Greece, also considered the cradle of history with its mythology, daily life and the wars that marked it. The Middle Ages will be studied from the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476. We will go through Clovis, religion but also royalty. Then, we will study the modern era with plague epidemics, life under the old Regime and the different kings as well as their life at court without forgetting the wars of religion and absolutist reigns as well as the History of the English Revolutions . Finally, the contemporary era (where I am most comfortable), where we will study the Catholic Church, the working world but also the global aspects of this period. We will also focus on the two world wars with the civilian impacts they had. If you want a course on the HGGSP, we will follow the program according to the pace you study in class. I would also like to train you orally, by doing some courses, by teaching you to master a PowerPoint and finally by teaching you the methodology of the dissertation, the presentation, the text commentary and finally the bibliography.

This class will support students studying history up to GCSE level by understanding exam structure and learning revision techniques to remember important dates. It will include engaging content to provoke interest in students and encourage them to ask questions to improve their knowledge of the subject. I studied History at GCSE and A level, obtaining a Grade 7 and an A respectively. I also wrote an extended essay on Victorian History at A level, in which I obtained an A also. I have relevant experience working with children; I volunteered at a local youth club for two years and I have extensive experience with childminding. I worked as a Teaching Assistant during Sixth form in history classes so I have knowledge of teaching and student support. I also have a certified Level 3 safeguarding qualification.

Having studied History throughout my academic life, both at school and at university, I now specialise in providing support for students of all ages. Holder of a Literary Baccalaureate with honors, a Bi-license 2 in History and Political Science from the University of Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne, I then obtained a License 3 and a Master in Contemporary History at the University of Brittany -South (Lorient). This master's degree being devoted to a dissertation on contemporary religious history (60p, 14/20), I was then selected for an Erasmus year at the University of Friborg to specialize in religious sociology. We will try to make a better History content that you can understand and thus bring closer all this that seems old and forgotten. I have a BA honours in history from the University of London and have experience in many topics from GCSE level all the way up to degree.

History is the analysis and reflections of events of the past, namely conflicts, development and advancement. All aspects of history can be understood in terms of timeline, perspective, and role. With 10 years of history tutoring experience, it is well recognised that academic history can be demanding and seeking assistance can only strengthen a student’s understanding. History defines our surroundings, our identity, our nations, and our life in any way we do not always see. For myself, I have always had a deep passion for making history fun, exciting and captivating, something my students will experience in my classes, in which, through the medium of storytelling and class interaction I will take them through a journey through time learning about key historical periods related to their learning curriculum at school. This class is for those interested in history or who need help in their own historical studies. As a Masters graduate in medieval History and Undergraduate of History at the University of St. Andrews I am able to provide in depth understanding of a broad range of historical periods. In particular I can offer great depth on the history of Byzantium, but I have also covered periods such as the ancien regime, Bismarck's Germany, the Japanese Empire, the USSR, the Weimar Republic.
