Classics and Ancient History - Beginners and for Exam

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

I teach art history to anyone who wants to, regardless of age or level, online or at my home in Velp. You can learn about, among other things, the visual arts, music and literature from prehistory to the present. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. Whether it concerns Michelangelo's David or the graffiti on the walls of Dubai, I'll be happy to tell you about it. Anything is possible. I am trained as a musician/writer and am a second-degree teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in education and have been teaching art history, music history, creative writing and other subjects at the senior level of a small secondary school for a number of years, where I am also a team member. I write teaching materials that are used at various schools in secondary and higher education. I have a lot of experience with innovative education and one-on-one teaching. I adapt to the profile of each intern or student according to their objective and level. You will always need a blank piece of paper and a pencil for class. Some people say that you need fancy materials to make art but that is far from the truth. Using what you have at home is perfect! We will be taking notes each class on techniques and we will also be doing sketches every class. On the first day of class we will start by setting goals for something we want to learn more about in art. I will work with you to gradually get to that place you want. Art is something that you learn just like everything else, putting in the work is part of learning and is needed in the subject of art as well!

Passionate about history, I am at your disposal for any help you would need for the writing of your presentations, end of studies and dissertations in EDM / geography / human sciences and French. Favoring efficiency, I restructure and correct your texts (or your courses) to make your subjects as alive as possible. All seriously, but always in a good mood. Currently a final year Master's student in International Studies, I offer courses in Arabic, French and history-geography. My two mother tongues are Arabic and French, which I teach to different audiences (children, teenagers, adults), in school settings or in private lessons.
