About Me

I am a technology lawyer and public policy consultant with a strong track record of working at the intersection of law, technology, governance and constitutional law. Currently pursuing an Advanced LL.M. in Law and Digital Technologies at Leiden University, I bring both academic depth and extensive real-world experience into my teaching.

Over the past several years, I have worked closely with governments, big tech companies, and civil society organisations on some of the most complex and evolving areas of law - ranging from digital regulation and intermediary liability to AI governance, online safety, and data protection.

As a Public Policy Analyst at The Quantum Hub, I played a key role in designing regulatory frameworks and policy strategies that directly informed government thinking and industry practice. My work included developing a Responsible AI Framework in collaboration with the Government of India, advising companies such as Google, Microsoft, Snapchat, and YouTube on regulatory compliance, and co-authoring reports and studies on online safety and platform accountability.

Previously, as Policy & Legal Counsel at SFLC.in, I worked on high-impact constitutional and policy issues - drafting legal submissions before the Supreme Court of India, advising Members of Parliament, and building one of India’s first cross-sectoral technology policy coalitions. My work combined legal analysis with advocacy, contributing to debates on surveillance, internet shutdowns, free speech, and digital rights.

I began my career in legal practice at Sai Krishna & Associates, where I advised Amazon Prime Video on content regulation, intellectual property, and platform compliance - negotiating contracts and conducting legal risk assessments across multiple high-profile projects.

Alongside my professional work, I have authored several publications on technology law, digital policy, and governance, and have led research and stakeholder consultations across industry, government, academia and civil society.

This series of lessons focuses on the skills that truly define a good lawyer, but which are not covered in law school. The sessions are designed as a practical, hands-on learning experience and help you learn to think, write, and argue like a jurist.

A central part of the course is excellent research. You will learn how to design and structure sound research projects – from papers to dissertations and theses. This includes formulating clear research questions, building coherent arguments, selecting suitable methodologies, and structuring your work in a way that is analytically sharp and academically convincing.

The sessions go beyond superficial research skills. You will be trained in:
1. Designing an in-depth research methodology (doctrinal, comparative, and interdisciplinary approaches)
2. Primary legal research, including analysis of case law, interpretation of legislation and use of legislative material
3. Secondary research strategies, including identifying high-quality academic sources and policy material
4. Supervision of theses and dissertations, including topic selection, structuring chapters, refining arguments, and editing drafts

The authenticity of an exchange. In a society increasingly rooted in a competitive approach, where automated exchanges with Artificial Intelligence cannot replace the need for human interaction, this is precisely what we lack.
As a lawyer by training and an independent legal consultant, creating "Le Droit aux Savoirs" (The Right to Knowledge) is a breath of fresh air.
